About Me
*I am Ophelia G. Griggs, an ordained and licensed minister, serving as an associate minister at Refuge Temple Ministries in Martinsville, Virginia. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Norfolk State University, 1986, master's degree in Community and College Counselling from Longwood University, 2004, Doctor of Education with specialization in leadership and management from Capella University, 2016, and seminary studies. Currently, I work in higher education at a community college and have been for 14 years. Previous employment was in Mental Health for 17 years, and Social Services for nearly two years.
*My business is a limited liability company (LLC) instituted upon the principles of God’s word providing services pertaining to educational seminars, workshops, and consultations that are fundamentally structured toward advancing knowledge, growth, and awareness about topics pertaining to Grief, Mental Stability/ Mental Health, Emotional Wellness (Mindfulness), Self-esteem, Relationships, Time Management, Organizational Skills, and Soft Skills, but not limited to them only. Other topics will be taken into consideration. My business and this website are about empowerment and self-improvement spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. *I am licensed with the State of Virginia to perform Celebrate Rights. I prefer to conduct marriages based upon the ideology of biblical truths defined by God’s word according to Genesis 2:24 (KJV), “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” [man and woman].
I am flexible for speaking engagements and conducting one-hour online biblical studies.

Become a strong individual developing into a healthier and productive mindset. Become insightful about managing life challenges to make improvements, set realistic goals, and discover new potentials.
